Hacienda Pinilla in Costa Rica isn't just a paradise for beach lovers and adventure seekers; it's also a haven for wildlife enthusiasts. The area's diverse ecosystems support a rich variety of fauna, making it an ideal place for spotting and learning about exotic creatures. In this beginner's guide to Hacienda Pinilla's wildlife, we'll introduce you to some of the fascinating species you might encounter during your visit.

1. Howler Monkeys: The Vocal Residents

The raucous calls of howler monkeys are one of the first sounds you might hear in Hacienda Pinilla. These endearing creatures are known for their large size, prehensile tails, and distinctive vocalizations. Don't be surprised if you see them swinging from tree to tree, often in search of food.
